The offering constitutes a veritable mini-collection of posters, post cards, and correspondence reproduced from the Houdini-Bard Collection, highlighting the provenance and history of the statue and stage coat.

As spelled out in letters from Bard, Bess gave the coat to Katie Bard in the 1920s, and Houdini gave the bust to Jim Bard some years earlier. In addition to the bust, stage coat, and accompanying memorabilia, the offering includes a copy of the best-selling biography, The Secret Life of Houdini, co-authored by William Kalush, which documents the long-time friendship of Houdini and Bard, along with other fascinating aspects of Houdini’s remarkable career.

The signed and numbered reproduction offering is strictly limited to a first edition of 100 copies, and the first ten purchasers will receive the Deluxe Two-Volume Boxed Set of The Secret Life of Houdini, autographed by William Kalush and Larry Sloman.
