Description

John Pomeroy wrote the book on The Great Alexander and in his research he came across the original Alexander Turban which now resides in the David Copperfield Museum. But in the course of this he made a copy of the original before shipping it off to David. This second turban is pictured here.

It is supplied with the microphone and inside the turban is located the receiving unit (speaker). John wired up a carpet ala talking Tea Kettle and actually made the Turban work, but the carpet is not part of this sale. The Turban is being sold as non-working but never the less is a historic piece.

Note: The preceding  information was supplied by John’s wife.

It is in beautiful condition in spite of it’s age. Please raise your expectations here; this is a one-of-a-kind find.

Condition: Very good, as pictured.

Maker: John Pomeroy, Gem Mfg.

Ca.: 1940’s
