DIMINISHING SPONGE BALLS: A beautiful sponge ball routine where the balls continually and visually split into sponges half their size. Suitable for close-up and stand-up.

You start with a 3-inch sponge ball then visually split it into two 2-inch sponges. Then just as cleanly split the new 2-inch sponge ball into two 1-inch sponges then into two small ½-inch sponges. For a finale one of the 1/2-inch sponge balls transforms into the original 3-inch sponge.

The routine uses an original sponge ball technique created by Magic Ian Sutz in 1979.
