This is the most beautiful set of coin cups ever which use this methodology. I can’t say what the method is of course, but did I mention the most beautiful set of coin cups ever? They are truly that. If you’re familiar with the premise and props which do this sort of thing, there’s a good chance you’ve already encountered this secret (originated by George Robinson Jr. btw.). It’s, in my opinion, the best way for doing this effect. There are no magnets, sticky stuff, or trick coins used. The quarters can be borrowed and the cups are forever ready to go. The thick, heavy brass turned cups are solid and with no chance of accidental tipping. Though not mentioned, and without saying any more than I should, the diameter and shape of the cup’s base allows for a certain something to be hidden underneath where the hands and cups can be shown empty in the beginning without any need for reaching into a pocket before proceeding with the trick.
Very highly recommended. Get the best version of the coin cups, made by the originator himself. They’re stamped with the Viking insignia for the collector in brass magic and come in a drawstring pouch that’s sewn down the middle to keep the cups snug inside without clinking together.
